My Name Is Rheannon.

I chose SilverQueen for my Instagram handle and business name for three reasons.

Rhiannon is a Welsh name meaning “great queen” or “divine queen,” originating from the Celtic Rigantona. It’s rooted in Welsh mythology, representing a woman who was strong, intelligent, and enchanting – and damn if I don’t like that.

I’m 49 years old. When I was a little girl, I was an avid tree climber. My dad and grandpa built a set of monkey bars for me and my brother, and I remember noticing I had muscles in my wee little arms.

I have not always felt strong, but I have always valued it. That is a big part of why I love helping women feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies now.

ps: I still climb when I get the chance. And I love being able to.

I was married with kids by 21 and spent years as a stay-at-home mom. I was a good cook, and we ate fruits and vegetables, but I did not really understand nutrition in a deeper way until my late 30s.

Since then, I have spent years learning. I have extensive experience with approaches like Paleo, Whole30, and CrossFit, and as the family’s “doctor mom,” I owned the responsibility of figuring out solutions to whatever health issue came up, including one very unpleasant experience with black mold.

I’m a natural troubleshooter with what may be an overabundance of curiosity. :) This serves my clients will because I’m often able to problem solve with them when life doesn’t go according to plan.

Movement has taken different forms throughout my life. I started with Pilates, gym classes, yoga, and CrossFit, and over time found my way to strength training. I’m not interested in chasing trends. I care about staying strong, capable, and independent for the long haul.

When I’m an old lady, I want to be active and able to enjoy moving through life. That means building strength and choosing habits I can sustain. Use it or lose it is real.

I grew up camping and swimming in lakes in Michigan, and now I live in Florida, where I still look for every excuse to be outside, whether that is hiking, swimming, or getting out on my bike.

I also love travel, bushcraft and survival skills, and I’m a bit of a coffee snob.

If you are looking for a coach who practices what she preaches and values strength, real-life nutrition, and long-term health, you are in the right place.
